Finally, use links to your advantage. There is nothing wrong with including a link to another person's webpage or a story if it adds relevance and reliability to your posting. This helps your readers to actually gain a greater trust in you. Also link back to your own previous postings if they relate to your current topic. Finally, include your link in all email signatures and forum signatures where applicable.

If you take the time to prepare before jumping into a new blog, you are sure to be a success. Contrary to what many believe, it is not something you can do overnight. It takes work, but the benefits are worth the wait!
